A Journey of Feeling
Navigating the Nine-Year Change
An informational and practical workshop
What and when is the 9-year change? How does this “change” influence the children’s perception of themselves, their relationships, and engagement in the world? Unspoken questions of authority, freedom, loneliness, responsibility, trust, and confidence in the future are at stake in the child’s life of feeling and can arise within the family dynamic. Unseen physiological developments run parallel to these feelings of soul. How does the Waldorf Curriculum address these questions? What can parents do? How can we adults recognize and support a heathy and positive passage through this important transformation of middle childhood?
Cristina will share resources, facilitate reflection, and offer practical perspectives for both teachers and parents.
