*Note that Extended and After Care tuition costs are flat rates regardless of your enrollment in 4 or 5 days.
Kindergarten parents please note that children who will turn 6 years old by March 1, 2016 may be expected to attend 5–days/wk in preparation for grades school (half day, extended, or full day is still optional). If you have concerns or questions about how this relates to your child please feel free to discuss this with our Enrollment Coordinator or your child's teacher.

A detailed Application for Admissions Form should be submitted to the school along with the non-refundable $50 application fee. If there are currently no openings in the class, the child's name will be placed on the waiting list (see below) after having been met and observed by the class teacher and after having paid the 10% tuition deposit.
2015–16 Annual Affiliation/Equipment Fees
Lower School (1st-4th Grades) $400.00
Lower School (5th/6th Grades) $500.00
Middle School (7th/8th Grades) $575.00
*Due June 1, 2016, or can be divided up to be half due June 1st, and the rest rolled into monthly payments. See office.
Your Affiliation and Equipment Fee supports your child's education as follows:
Roughly, 50% of the fee goes to your child’s class teacher to spend on the year’s class supplies and any necessary classroom furniture and equipment (i.e. chairs, desks). In the case of the early childhood and mixed‐age kindergarten classes, some of this money will be allotted to the food budget. In the case of the 5th/6th Grades, $300 will go to the class teacher to help fund the class’s participation in the regional Waldorf school events, the Pentathlon and/or the Medieval Games. In the case of the Middle School $375 of the total fee goes to the class teacher to fund Middle School‐specific activities. These fees are reevaluated each year and are subject to change from one year to the next.
The other 50% is divided up between the purchase/maintenance of equipment and consumables within the overall school budget and the school’s membership dues for AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America). It also pays for the evaluation of our program and teachers by WECAN, and other AWSNA‐approved evaluators necessary to maintain accreditation as a developing member school.
NOTE: The Affiliation/Equipment Fee will not be refunded once school has begun.
Throughout the year, other fees will apply for field trips, etc.

Annual Giving Campaign
Prairie Moon Waldorf School celebrates a strong tradition of Annual Giving. Our school relies on the Annual Giving Campaign to bridge the gap between tuition income and the actual cost of running the School, including salaries, insurance, and rent, and programming. Parents, faculty, staff, alumni, trustees and friends work together toward a goal of 100% participation each year. Contributions to the Annual Giving Campaign are tax-deductible. We thank all families and friends for their participation.
