tuition assistance

General Tuition Assistance

For the early childhood program, parents may receive tuition assistance via SRS (Social & Rehabilitation Services) and/or the Douglas County Child Development Association.

For families interested in receiving tuition assistance for our grades program, sliding scale tuition is available. Take look at our tuition page for more information.

Douglas County Child Development Association

For parents who work and/or attend schooling, the Douglas County Child Development Association provides tuition assistance. Here are some questions and answers from their website:

Eligibility: Parents who are working or are in training or educational programs and who are income eligible, but who are NOT eligible for Kansas SRS funding.

How much of the bill does the scholarship pay?
Scholarships are paid on a sliding scale according to the parent's income. They pay between 20% and 100% of the child care fee. Parents who have partial scholarships are billed by the center for the remainder of their bill.
