"What an amazing start to school for our 4 1/2 year old son. In the mornings he was shy about mixing with the other kids at first, and his teacher let him play in the corner by the door. She brought him a silk cloth to cover over the chair and make into a fort. He would join in activities a little later in the morning. After a few days of this, he arrived to find the teacher playing with a group of children in his corner. He quickly scurried off to another part of the room and joined in with some other kids.
