2007 Annual Campaign

Why hold an annual campaign?
Tuition and fees cover about 85% of the projected operating expenses of the school for 2007-2008, and the purpose of the Annual Campaign is to help bridge this gap. No private, independent school could charge the full cost of educating students without pricing itself out of the market. That is why nearly every independent, non-profit school has an Annual Campaign. Additionally, tuition is a non-tax-deductible contracted contribution to the school, while gifts to the Annual Campaign are fully tax-deductible.

Who helps?
We are appealing to Prairie Moon School board members, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, faculty, staff and friends for financial contributions in support of the school’s operating budge.
Where do the funds go? The major components of the operating budget are programs, facilities, equipment, salaries, and benefits, new classroom renovation, playground improvements, and tuition assistance.
